Miki Erez was injured In 1973, while serving in the Israeli Air-Force, in a heavy lift helicopter squadron, He spent the next 18 months in a veteran's hospital, His left leg and part of his right leg were paralyzed. After several spinal cord surgeries, he was confined to a wheelchair, but Erez never lost the will to walk again. He began to rehabilitate himself and train intensively, using his instincts to guide him.
